Spring Fashion Wishlist

A new season means lots of new trends and fashion pieces come out.
I love browsing the new in section on ASOS to find new clothing items – I may have a bit of an ASOS addiction and spend way too much time on there looking at clothes but there are a few items that I have my eyes on and I thought I would share them with you.

I love these two t-shirts from New Look – they look really soft and comfortable and I love the detail on the shoulders. I live in t-shirts and jeans so I thought these two would be a nice addition to my wardrobe.
I’m not sure which colour I like better but I think they are both really pretty.

When I was scrolling through the dresses, this instantly caught my eye. It’s not something I would usually go for and I will probably chicken out of buying it but I think it is really unique and pretty. I love the floral embroidery on it and how the bottom of the dress and the sleeves are sheer.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 12.17.18

I have been looking for some blue denim dungarees for a while and when I saw these on ASOS I thought they were really cool. I like how they have quite a relaxed fit and aren’t too tight on the legs as I like them to feel comfortable and not restricting.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 11.31.51

I thought this pink top was so pretty and cute for spring to wear with black or blue high-waisted jeans or a skirt. I am trying to get myself to wear more colour and I thought this would be a simple way to inject more colour into my wardrobe.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 11.32.06

I saw this jumper and instantly fell in love! I have an obsession with jumpers but I saw this and thought it looked so pretty and cool – as I said I have been trying to wear more colour and this is definitely very colourful.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 12.17.26

I think this whole outfit looks so cool but the jumper is out of stock in my size but I still love the denim skirt. I have been wearing more skirts recently so I thought this might be a nice addition to my collection.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 11.37.53

I have been loving the pleated skirt trend but I haven’t found one I really liked until I saw this one. I love the pink metallic colour and the elastic band at the top but I’m not sure if I would be able to pull it off.

Screen Shot 2017-04-16 at 11.30.34

I have been looking for an oversized denim jacket for a while and when I saw this one from River Island I thought it was so cool with the floral embroidery on the back.
Unfortunately it is out of stock now but I thought it was really cool so I added it on here anyway.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse Review

I have been wanting to get my hands on the Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse ever since I heard about Caroline releasing her own skincare product as she knows everything there is about skincare.

First of all, I love the packaging that this product comes in – it looks so pretty, chic and sophisticated. I love the pink and the copper details, I think they make it look really pretty.
The actual pot that the product comes in also looks so nice and is such high quality.

I love the idea of having two products in one pot for double cleansing as it makes the whole process so much easier.
However, one thing I feel might be an issue is one product running out before the other – I feel like it could be really useful if there were separate refills for each product.
You get 50ml of each product so it should last quite a long time, if you don’t use too much of it everyday.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

If you haven’t heard about double cleansing it is basically when you use two different products to take off your make up then cleanse your skin in the evenings.

In the case of this product, the solid cleansing oil is used to remove make up then use the cream cleanser to cleanse your skin.

Step 1: The oil is solid to start with then melts down into a liquid using the warmth of your fingertips. It melts off all of my make up, including waterproof mascara that is usually a challenge to remove.

Step 2: You then remove all excess make up and cleanse your skin with the cream cleanse. I have quite oily skin so in the past I stayed away from cream cleansers but after using the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish I changed my mind and this product did the same as it is very light and not greasy at all so doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky after using it.

After using these products my skin feels so clean and soft. It doesn’t give you that squeaky clean feeling (I don’t like that feeling) , it leaves your skin feeling moisturised and soft which is so nice.

I have now been converted to the idea of double cleansing and will be using Caroline’s tips from now on!

Overall, I loved this product and will continue using it until it runs out (and will probably re-purchase it).
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new cleanser to use that is very gentle on the skin and something amazing to remove make up.

This is a product that anyone can use because it is suitable for ALL SKIN TYPES, which I think it amazing.
It is sold for £24 which I think is pretty reasonable compared to some of the other products similar to it on the market, and you get two products in one.

It is sold in many places now so it is pretty easy to get hold of: M&SASOSCultBeauty

I hope you enjoyed this post!
Let me know if you have tried this product and what you thought of it.

See you next week with a new post,

The Blogger Tag

Hey Everyone,

I have seen this post a few times from other bloggers and I thought I would answer the questions and share them with you.
I don’t actually know if these are the official questions but these are the ones I have seen a few times.

HOW TALL ARE YOU?

About 5″3/4…yup I know I’m quite short

DO YOU HAVE A HIDDEN TALENT? IF SO WHAT?

I don’t know if you could count it as a talent but I can make a surprisingly realistic sound of a cat meowing…I know strange!

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST BLOG RELATED PET PEEVE?

I hate it when bloggers tear down other bloggers or when bloggers who have a larger number of bloggers feel like they are better than people with fewer followers – we all started blogging for our own reasons and have our own ways of doing things and I don’t think it is right for people to feel more superior than others.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST NON-BLOG RELATED PET PEEVE?

I have quite a few pet peeves but the two that pop into my head straight away are slow walkers and people with bad table manners – I hate it when you are trying to get somewhere but you can’t get past people who are walking ridiculously slowly and I hate it when you are eating a meal with someone and they are chewing with their mouth open or talking with their mouth full….it drives me insane.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SONG?

My favourite songs change so often but the song I have been playing non-stop is Into You by Ariana Grande.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE?

My favourite social media website would have to be Instagram because I love taking photos and Instagram is a way to share them.
I also love how you can look back on all the photos you have posted and look at all the memories that have been captured.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO SPEND YOUR FREE TIME WHEN YOU’RE ALONE?

My favourite things to do in my free time when I’m alone would have to be to sit in bed and watch YouTube videos or my favourite TV shows on Netflix – boring I know.
If you are looking for any TV shows to Binge watch check out my post did with my 5 favourite shows to binge watch here.
I also love to plan and write blog posts in my free time, I love blogging and really enjoy spending my time on it.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE JUNK FOOD?

I love any kind of junk food but one of my weaknesses is cookies – I recently made some Smarties cookies and demolished them in 2 days straight.

DO YOU HAVE A PET OR PETS? IF SO, WHAT KIND AND WHAT ARE THIER NAMES?

I have two cats called Amber and Archie. Amber is tortoiseshell and Archie is black and white tuxedo.

WHAT ARE YOUR NUMBER ONE FAVOURITE NON-FICTION AND FICTION BOOKS?

I love reading but unfortunately I don’t have as much time to read as I would like because of school, revision, exams etc. but this summer I plan to do lots of reading.

My favourite fiction book series of all time are the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare – Cassie is the most amazing writer and has written some incredible books.
My favourite non-fiction book at the moment is Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick – I reviewed it a few weeks ago if you want to check that out here.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE BEAUTY PRODUCT OR TOOL?

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – I couldn’t live without it.

WHEN WERE YOU LAST EMBARRASED? WHAT HAPPENED?

I embarrass myself on a regular basis so there are too many to choose from.

IF YOU COULD ONLY DRINK ONE BEVERAGE (BESIDES WATER) FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Lemonade

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE FILM?

I have so many favourite films it would be so hard to choose just one but some of my favourites are Monte Carlo, New Year’s Eve and Pitch Perfect (1&2).

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE LESSON IN SCHOOL AND WHY?

My favourite subject when I was younger was Maths, which is surprising because I hate it now.
Out of the subjects I take for A-Level my favourite subject would have to be Media because I love anything creative and I find it really interesting.

IF YOU COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD YOU LIVE AND WHY?

If I could live anywhere in the world I would live in New York as it is the one place that I have visited that I fell in love with straight away and could see myself living there in the future.

PC OR MAC?

100% Mac, after I started using a Mac I knew I would never be able to go back to a PC.

LAST ROMANTIC GESTURE FROM A CRUSH, DATE, BOY/GIRLFRIEND, SPOUSE (OR KIND GESTURE FROM A FRIEND)?

I don’t have a boyfriend and never have so no romantic gestures there but I have really sweet friends who always look out for me when I am feeling sad or unwell.

FAVOURITE CELEBRITY?

I have so many favourite celebrities, it would be so hard to choose a favourite.
Some of my favourite female celebrities are Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Heather Morris and Blake Lively.
Some of my favourite male celebrities are Matthew Daddario, Darren Criss, Dave Franco, Colin O’Donoghue, Finn Harries (not really a celebrity) and Chase Crawford.

WHAT BLOGGER DO YOU SECRETLY WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH?

I would love to be friends with so many bloggers, especially Zoe Sugg, Lily Pebbles, Anna from the Anna Edit and Suzie from HelloOctober.

WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION?

My biggest inspiration is Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. Everything Zoe has achieved in her career at such as young age is incredible and so inspiring to me. She has to deal with so much hate in the public eye and people tearing her down every day but she deals with it so well and doesn’t let it stop her achieving success.
Zoe is the one blogger/celebrity that I have connected with the most and she inspires me everyday to follow my dreams and achieve what I want to achieve.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BLOG TO READ?

My favourite blogs to read are Lily Pebbles, TheAnnaEdit and HelloOctober.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE HIGH-STREET SHOP?

My favourite high street shop would probably be Topshop but I shop on ASOS most of the time.

ARE YOU IN EDUCATION OR DO YOU WORK?

I am still in education – I am in Year 13, my last year of school currently doing my A-Levels.

ONE THING YOU ARE PROUD OF?

I am proud of my blog – I am so happy I started blogging because it is one of my favourite things to spend my time doing and I am proud of what I have achieved so far and being able to post every week (so far..) whilst doing my A-Levels.
I may not have many followers or have that many people reading my blog but I am so unbelievably proud of it and myself for starting it as I love it so much and want to continue doing it for a long time.

I hope you enjoyed this post – let me know if you answer any of these questions.

See you next week with a new post,

March Favourites 2017

Hey Everyone,

Today I thought I would share with you my March Favourites. I didn’t do a February Favourites so I have quite a few things to share with you that I have been loving over the past two months.

BEAUTY

Untitled-2.jpg

P3263271_Fotor.jpg

IT Cosmetics CC Cream – I have been wanting to try this for soo long after I saw Anna from TheAnnaEdit raving about it but I couldn’t find somewhere to buy it in the UK.
I finally found a website where I could get it sent to the UK without a ridiculous price for shipping. The website is called Beautylish and there are so many amazing brands on there and lots that we can’t get here in the UK.
I had never tried anything from IT Cosmetics before so I didn’t really know whether I would like their products so was a bit nervous to buy a full size of the CC Cream incase I didn’t like it. But as I was browsing I found that they did a smaller tester version of the CC Cream, which I was so happy about because it meant that I could test it out before buying the full product. I tried it and loved it so I have now purchased the full size.
This CC Cream is a fuller coverage CC Cream, obviously not as full coverage as a foundation but it’s not a light coverage. It is a hydrating cream so is quite glowy, which is something I don’t usually go for because I have quite oily skin but I really like it. Another thing I love is that it has factor 50+ and because I have such pale skin and I burn really easily, it is great.

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer – this is a new concealer from Nars and I had heard so many people talking about it that I wanted to give it a try.
My all time favourite concealer is the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer so I had high hopes about this concealer and I love it.
It has very high coverage but isn’t too cakey, which is great and works great on it’s own or with foundation. It is also great for touch ups during the day as it blends in well over the top of foundation.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – this favourite is nothing new and it is something so many people have spoken about but it is a new favourite for me.
I have always been a big fan of Beauty Blenders but I have fallen out of love with them recently so thought I would try the Real Techniques one and was very happy with the results. I like how there is a pointed end as well as a flat side so you can easily apply products to every part of your face.

FASHION

P3263281_Fotor.jpg

I have been looking for a long sleeve grey body suit for a long time now and have never found the right one, until I saw this one in M&S.
It fits so well and doesn’t feel uncomfortable – I love the colour and the fit of it and it is perfect for the transition between winter and spring.
I love wearing it with black high waisted jeans as more of a casual look but you can also dress it up with a skirt and boots.

TV & FILM

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I have been loving quite a few films and TV shows over the past few months but here are my top 3 favourites.

Firstly, the TV show that I have been loving this month is Riverdale.
I’m sure a lot of you will have heard of it, but if you haven’t, it is a new TV show on Netflix that started at the beginning of this year.
I featured the show in my blog post two weeks ago where I talked about my 5 Favourite TV Shows to Binge Watch, which you can check out here.

Riverdale Synopsis: Set in the present day and based on the iconic Archie Comics characters, “Riverdale” is a surprising and subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Josie and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small town life — the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade.

I heard so much about this TV show and so many people told me I should watch it but I had also heard that it was really scary so I put off watching it because I’m not great with scary things. But I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did!
It really isn’t scary, it’s quite dark and creepy at points but not scary, which I really like.
The cast for this show is amazing and I love them all!
I would 100% recommend watching this show if you are looking for something new to watch on Netflix.

I have been loving two films this month, neither of them are very new but I have recently discovered them this month.

The first film I loved this month was Bridget Jones’ Baby. I don’t know why I haven’t seen this film before now because it is so good.

Bridget Jones’ Baby synopsis: Breaking up with Mark Darcy leaves Bridget Jones over 40 and single again. Feeling that she has everything under control, Jones decides to focus on her career as a top news producer. Suddenly, her love life comes back from the dead when she meets a dashing and handsome American named Jack. Things couldn’t be better, until Bridget discovers that she is pregnant. Now, the befuddled mom-to-be must figure out if the proud papa is Mark or Jack.

I watched this film when I went over to my friends’ house and we all had a movie night – it was so much fun and we all had a great time.
I have to admit that I haven’t seen any of the other Bridget Jones films but you don’t really need to watch the previous ones before watching this one.
It is sooo funny and I was nearly crying with laughter at some points. Emma Thompson is in this film as the midwife and I think she is absolutely hilarious and one of my favourite actresses.

The second film I have been loving is Now You See Me 2 – if you haven’t seen the first Now You See Me I would definitely recommend it.

Now You See Me 2 Synopsis: After fleeing from a stage show, the illusionists  known as the Four Horsemen find themselves in more trouble in Macau, China. Devious tech wizard Walter Mabry forces the infamous magicians to steal a powerful chip that can control all of the world’s computers. Meanwhile, vengeful FBI agent Dylan Rhodes  hatches his own plot against Thaddeus Bradley, the man he blames for the death of his father.

Most people say that they prefer Now You See Me 1 but I love them both – they are such amazing films.
There are certain scenes in this film that are incredible such as the card throwing scene in the middle of the film – I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it but it is amazing.
I also love the cast, I think they are all hilarious and they all work so well together and also Dave Franco in this film 😍

RANDOM

Untitled-4.jpg

P3263263_Fotor.jpg

My random favourite for this month has been this Diptique Rosa Mundi candle, which smells incredible!!
It was a limited edition candle for Valentine’s Day so I don’t want to burn it too often because I am worried that it will run out too quickly.
The packaging is so beautiful and matches the scent perfectly – it has a mix of damascena, the damask rose, and centifolia, the May rose. Additional notes include currant, bergamot, lychee and geranium.
Diptique candles are quite pricey so I got the mini one but I wish I got a bigger size as I love the scent so much.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have been loving this month, let me know what things you have been loving.

See you next week with a new post,
