I know everyone says it but how are we already in September? I feel like the summer and the year has just flown by and before we know it is going to be Christmas. I am quite excited though because Autumn is my favourite season and I can’t wait to wrap up warm in cosy jumpers, scarfs and coats. But enough about autumn and winter, today I thought I would share with you my August Favourites 2017.
I haven’t done a favourites post in quite a while and I have had quite a few favourites this month, so I thought I would share them with you. There is quite a range here from Beauty to Fashion to Entertainment and even some Random favourites.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette
If you saw my Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette Review a few weeks ago, you may know that I fell in love with Urban Decay’s new palette.
I won’t talk about it in great deal here so if you want to hear my thoughts about it in more detail go and read my review post here.
Real Techniques MultiTech Large Point Brush
I picked this brush up from Superdrug when I went shopping at the beginning of the month and have been using it every day since.
This brush is so versatile and can be used for so many things such as bronzer, blush or powder; I personally use if for bronzer but it could be used for anything.
The slightly pointed end helps when applying powder under my eyes to set my concealer and I bet it would be great for contouring under your cheekbones.
It is also super soft which I love!
Real Techniques PowderBleu B04 Soft Shadow Brush
Another Real Techniques favourite this month from their new PowderBleu collection.
Ever since I saw people talking about these being released I wanted to try them as I had heard such good things about them.
I picked up the eyeshadow brush because I have been looking for a new one to try and I have been loving it. It is great for applying shadow and also blending shadows out.
The brushes in this collection are probably the softest brushes I have ever felt and they are amazing so you should definitely check them out.
They are more on the pricey side because they are so high quality so are more of a luxe product but if you have some money saved and would like to spend a bit more money on your brushes I would definitely recommend it.
J’taime Topshop Top & Miss Selfridge Wide-leg trousers
– Favourite Outfit
I don’t usually share fashion favourites but this month I have been loving one particular outfit so I thought I would share it.
I have been loving wearing this top from Topshop with these wide-legged trousers from Miss Selfridge and pairing them with my converse and Guccci Bag.
I have been wearing it so much this month and have been trying to make the most of the warmer weather and being able to go out without a jacket.
This film has been out for quite a while now and I had been wanting to see it since it came out and finally got around to it at the beginning of the month when I went to see it with some friends and thought it was hilarious.
It is a really ridiculous film and very inappropriate in places but it is so funny and we all had such as laugh going to see it and I would definitely watch it again.
Plus it had Zac Efron in it and what else do you need?
I have been wanting to watch Gilmore Girls for such a long time and my best friend has been on me to watch it for ages so I started it at the beginning of the summer but really got into it this month and I am now on Season 6 and I love it so much!
It is such a feel good, cosy show that will instantly make you feel happier and more relaxed – I’m so glad I finally got round to watching it as it is now one of my favourite TV shows.
This is a bit of a random favourite and it was a bit of a ridiculous purchase but I have been trying to get myself to drink more water and I thought this would help and so far it has been really helping.
I love the pattern on it and I also love that it has a straw as I find that it makes me drink more water (weird I know).
Zoella Beauty Bath Latte
This is a long time favourite of mine from Zoella Beauty and I recently repurchased it and have been loving it this month.
It smells amazing and makes the best bubbles in the bath.
Hope you enjoyed this post, see you next week with one!
