Favourite Autumnal Lipsticks

Favourite Autumnal Lipsticks

As you have probably heard about 100 times in previous posts, Autumn is my favourite season and one of my favourite things about Autumn is the make up. In Autumn I love going a bit bolder with my make up, especially with my lipsticks so I thought I would show you my Favourite Autumnal Lipsticks.

In Autumn I love to crack out my purple and red lipsticks as Autumn is the perfect time to wear them, however, I also do love to wear nudes in Autumn so this post will include a mixture of both reds and nudes.

Bourjois Rouge Laque Lipstick in 07

This is a new addition to my make up collection that I bought at the beginning of Autumn this year. I had heard lots of people talk about these lipsticks and I was looking for a new purply lipstick shade so I thought I would give them a try.
If I am 100% honest, when I first started using it, I didn’t actually like it very much – I found it quite hard to apply and personally I find the texture really strange.
I do much prefer it now after trying it a few more times and practicing using it but I do find that when they start to wear off it wears off from the middle and leaves a line around the edge of your lips which looks quite strange so you have to re-apply it quite often.
However, I do really like the colour and with practice it is now much easier to apply so I do really like this lipstick.

Rimmel Kate Moss 107

This has been a firm favourite in my collection for a few years now and I featured it in my Favourite Festive Red Lipsticks for Blogmas last year, which you can read here if you want.
This is a cult favourite for so many people and for good reason; it is matte which I really like for Autumn and it is also pretty long lasting considering the price of it.
It is also a really nice shade of red because it has a slight pinky-purple hint to it which I really like.
The Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are amazing and would highly recommend them – they have them in so many different shades so you are bound to find one that you like.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Big Kiss

This is another lipstick that I featured in my Red Lipsticks post last year but it is a firm favourite of mine. I love the colour of this lipstick because it is a real true red colour that is perfect for Autumn but also the festive season and I think this is going to be the lipstick that I wear on Christmas.
I love the shape of the bullet, it has a really pointed tip which I love because it makes it so easy to apply to your top lip and the edges and that is really important when you have a red lipstick because it is so obvious when it goes wrong.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk

This Charlotte Tilbury lipstick is one of the nudes that I love to wear in Autumn because it is a bit darker than the nudes I usually wear and it has a slight brown shade to it which is perfect for Autumn.
I find that this lipstick lasts such a long time, especially when worn with the matching Pillow Talk lip liner and it also wears off really nicely so you don’t have patches of lipstick left or a line around the edge of your lips. I wrote a whole review on this lipstick if you wan to read more about it here.

Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour in Bare Pink 9

This is another nude that I have been wearing a lot lately throughout Autumn. I just love this lipstick because it is so easy to wear.
It is the perfect lipstick for if you want to put something on but you want something that is just super quick to apply and you don’t have to think about it or even really use a mirror.
It is quite a pale nude so it isn’t too intense or noticeable, which somedays is all you really need.

I hope you enjoyed this post with my Favourite Autumnal Lipsticks.
Let me know if you have tried any of these lipsticks and what you thought of them and also let me know if there are any lipsticks that I haven’t included in this post that you think I should try.
