June Favourites 2018

June Favourites 2018

Today’s post is going to be my June Favourites 2018, I haven’t done a favourites post in quite a while and I have had LOADS of favourites from the past few months that I have had building up so today I thought I would share a few of them with you.

Beauty & Body

Zoella Beauty Splash Botanics Body Sorbet

I have only been using this product for a week or so but I had to include it in this month’s favourites because I have been loving it so much.
I have never been a fan of body moisturisers because I hate the way they feel on my skin but I also have very dry skin on my body so I’ve been looking for a body moisturiser that I can actually stand using…and I found it with this one.
This moisturiser is the perfect texture as it is almost like a gel consistency and it is so cooling and refreshing on the skin and it sinks in super fast so you aren’t left with that thick moisturiser feeling that I hate.
This is my new favourite body moisturiser that I’m going to be using from now on.
I also have a review coming up of the whole Zoella Beauty Splash Botanics Collection so make sure to keep your eye out for that in a few weeks.

Isle Of Paradise Self Tanning Drops – Light

As I am a red-head I have never been able to tan and I always thought that using any sort of tanning product would make me look ridiculous and orange.
However, a few weeks ago one of my friends who is also a red-head said she had been using a tanning product on her legs and it looked amazing so I thought why don’t I try tanning my legs as well.
I had a look round and I didn’t want anything too intense or a proper fake tan so I thought I would try a moisturiser with self tanner in it – then I saw these tanning drops that I had heard a lot about on YouTube and I thought I would give them a go.
They are drops that you mix into your regular moisturiser that can be used on both your face and body and I have really been loving them so far. I have only used them on my legs so far but they actually made some sort of difference and made my legs look more tanned than they have ever looked which I loved.

Maui Shampoo & Conditioner

I recently finished my Aussie shampoo and conditioner that I was using which I did love but I felt like I needed a change, especially now that it is summer.
When I was in Boots my mum said she had heard great things about this shampoo and conditioner so I thought I would give it a try.
There are a few different options to choose from within the range and I have the one for dry and damaged hair.
After using it, even for the first time, my hair felt amazing and so so soft and on top of that it smelt amazing which was great!
I am definitely going to be using this shampoo and conditioner for the rest of the summer.

L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream

This product has literally changed my hair’s life ever since I started using it! My mum bought this for me as the ends of my hair were getting really dry and I was getting quite bad split ends and when I first saw it I was pretty sceptical and didn’t think it was going to do anything for my hair…but boy was I wrong.
Even from the first time I used this my hair has been so much softer, silkier and just all round less dry which has been amazing and it has honestly reduced my split ends dramatically.
My hair is the longest it’s ever been at the moment so I really didn’t want to go to the hairdressers to get it cut and now I don’t have to because this cream has helped to repair my hair.

Aspyn Ovard x Tarte Eyes and Cheek Palette

If you saw my review that I did of this palette you will know that I absolutely love it and I have been using it all the time since I got it.
I honestly think it is my favourite palette that I own, which is a big statement!
If you want to see my full thoughts on this palette then check out my review of it that I did here.

Over the past few months I have been to quite a few concerts which have all been absolutely AMAZING and afterwards I have been obsessed with the music from all of the artists…well even more than I was before I went!
The three artists I have seen recently were The Vamps, The New Hope Club and Demi Lovato.

The Vamps

I have loved The Vamps for years but after seeing them live at the end of April I have been even more obsessed and I have been listening to their songs non-stop since. I am so excited because they have a new album coming out in July and I can’t wait to listen to it!
They have released two singles from the new album and I love them both loads – they are called ‘Hair Too Long’ and ‘Just My Type’ and you should definitely go and give them a listen.

New Hope Club

I first heard of the New Hope Club when I saw them perform at HelloWorld last October and I have loved them ever since. I then saw them perform when they opened for The Vamps on their tour.
I then saw that they were doing their own shows at the beginning of June in London so I got tickets for my best friend and I for her birthday to go and see them and it was absolutely amazing and I had the best time! They are such great performers and it was great to see them live.
I am OBSESSED with their new song ‘Medicine’ which you should definitely go listen to.
I also kind of have a mega crush on George from NHC 💗

Demi Lovato

I just saw Demi perform at the O2 a week or so ago – I was mean to see her a few weeks ago but she had to postpone the performance because she was sick. But it was so worth the wait to see her because the show was incredible. She is the most incredible performer and her voice is insane live!
Seeing her perform live was literally a childhood dream come true because I have been a fan of hers every since I saw her in Camp Rock 10 years ago!

The Originals

The Originals is one of my favourite TV Shows and Season 5 is currently airing and it is it’s final season which I am super sad about because I love this show!
If you don’t know what this show is, it is a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries and it follows the lives of the Mikaelson family that are the family of original vampires which were the first ever vampires that were created.
It is such a great show and I am really sad that it is coming to and end but I have been really enjoying watching its fifth and final season.

Love Island

If you follow me on Twitter then you will know that I have been watching Love Island religiously this year and I am literally obsessed! I haven’t missed one episode!
I only got into it half way through last year as my friends kept getting me to try and watch it and I am so glad they did because it is so good…I mean it’s so bad but that’s what makes it good! 😂
My best friend Sofia’s mum also got Sofia and I Love Island water bottles which I love so much! I have been using it every day since I got it and it has really been helping me drink more water which is a bonus.

The Kissing Booth Book & Film

I kept seeing The Kissing Booth film coming up as a suggestion for me on Netflix and I finally got round to watching it and I loved it! It is such a cute, feel-good film that I could watch over and over again (which I may have already done).
It is based on the book written by Beth Reekles, which I have also read. However, I didn’t read the book first which is what I always try to do before I see the film adaptation of it, but I still enjoyed the film nevertheless.

Rose Gold Necklace

For my birthday my best friend Sofia got me the most beautiful necklace and I am literally in love with it and have been wearing it all the time since I got it so I knew it just had to go in my monthly favourites because I love it so much.
I am not very adventurous with my jewellery as I usually just wear the same few things so I am so happy to have this beautiful necklace to add to my collection.
